Great technical shot and composition. Good use of diagonal lines. |

When I look at a shot like this I feel inspired. It's not flashy, it doesn't rely on Photoshop to process the hell out of it (like I seem to need to do often to score well on DPC), it speaks to me.
A good choice of DOF and a good POV make this a great shot. I'm not sure that I would have seen this shot as I walked by this location - that's a talent I don't yet have.
Adding you to my fav's. |

Strong composition, quite metaphorical - the literal "end of the line" is where we all end up after all. |

I like this. I like it even better cropped tighter on top so the fence on the left runs out of the picture instead of ending by pointing at the buildings beyond. |

Doesn't bring forth Manet for me (title reference), but I find the image extremely compelling. Well visioned - excellently composed, toned, and thought out. Reminds me of e301 in that sense. The depth of field is wonderful and telling - seeing the blurry past, following through the frame to the present and the close at hand future. Beautifully conceived, an entire life story of sorts. you sold me. 10 |

Love the composition here - I think I've seen this row of benches before? Very pleasant and well-presented view. |

I like the way you used depth of field to draw the viewer's eye to the man. |

brilliant .. love the dof and how it leads me to the man .. his age and posture and the graves in the background give a sadness to this image .. love the b&w process .. :) |

like the shallow depth of field. The man adds human interest. Very good. |

DOF works to lead you to subject. Like the B&W. Commenting only. |
