A drive-by shot? Wow! The man's contemplation of the mop is so intriguing. And the shot beautiful in its uncluttered simplicity and its tone. |

Your subject seems to have a aversion to the mop, and a halfway smirk. I see a story line.
The young man has made it, finished school, and successful in his endeavors. Maybe he has returned home, maybe it̢۪s just the mop, but he is reminded of what it took to get there. He could have been a janitor, possibly a dish washer, to pay his way threw college. This is only 1 of a multitude of stories this image could hold.. |

Either half of this photo is a brilliant photo in itself, the final is even better than the sum of it's parts. |

Wonderful, typical and unduplicatable Goodman goodness. First there's the picture, which on it's own is delightful, amusing, and perfectly composed - then there's the extra touch of your processing, which gives it warmth, life, depth. |

At the beginning of the 20th century colour... like Boer War or possibly pre Soviet Russia.... Rasputin waiting for the Empress.

Oweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
we have a winner
or maybe I have to comment on every other entry in order to earn the right to bestow my own personal honour on this one. Oh, I've already done that.
Magic moment - and excellent composition (blecchh) too.
Oh dear, can only say good things.
Could pixel X147, Y17 have been 0.001% darker, do you think?
Congrats |
