 Scouted this bench from across the river, location looked perfect for a twilight shot. Was taken aprox. 25 minutes after sunset, other than the natural light I added a touch of pop up flash balanced at -2 stops and also flashed an sb80dx to the left of the frame, just above bench level, zoomed and pointed at the back of the bench to get a little bit specular highlight along the top of the beams.

Quite a bit of Post work went into this, lots of masked curves and some masked selective color and hue saturation layers.

Fairly pleased with the result, haven't been around DPC much this year but I just left my job so this is the first of many submitions to come.

Nota bad placement 18/125. It looks almost like a Christmas card, add a Santa hat to the bench and sell it to a card company. I remember you from the Calgary gtg/workshop.

The sky, water and snow play nicely off of each other here. Nice tonality, though I might consider burning in a bit under the bench. Looks like a peaceful spot.

Gorgous view, lovely time of day to take a picture. I like the almost monochromatic sense to it with the almost metalic tan/beige of the bench and buildings with the gray blue of the sky and water.
