A little shocked that this ended up down here. I thought this would be in the top 10. |

I loved this photo and you got a 10 from me! Very disappointed to see this one didn't place much much higher. A wonderful entry for a tough challenge! |

Nice Librodo like portrait. Is it you Manny? my guess is no, since he usually photographs women. |

Those eyes are stunning. Very captivating. Almost eerie with the no pupil look. Very very nice lighting. I would have liked to see the face really fill up the frame here. |

This is an excellent, natural light portrait.
Crisp, with expert D & B and blurring. The texture of the scarf and the reflection of his eyes bring the subtle colors together. |

Excellent sharpness to this shot, the relections in the eyes really bring the shot to life - well done - 9 |

Ah a little twist. Always seems to be a woman in these types of shots. His eyes look great yet my eyes are drawn to the yellow cast in his moustache and chin. This is probably from the fabric, yet should have been corrected IMO. |

The title puzzles me and the man doesn't appear to be in an appropriate costume for his race, but since the very similar, famous "Afghan Girl" didn't appear to me to be Afghan that doesn't mean anything. However the expression is great, the very detailed eyes grab my attention. Very good lighting. |

The headscarf is a perplexing and somewhat artifical choice. But the lighting is wonderfully even, and the shot is just so crisp you can't help but find it appealing. |

Instantly reminded me of the National Geographic photo of Sharbat Gula (the Afghan woman with the deep green eyes). Great post process work on this. Clean, sharp & plenty of detail. :) |

great gaze, unreal eyes with lovely light in them.
More sharp than I might typically like.
A broken nose in his past? |
