 The photo (taken during daytime with the intention of making it look like a night shot) was taken in manual mode with exposure set to about -3 stops. Post processing included conversion from raw, conversion to monochrome using channel mixer, Colorizing with purplish-blue tint, and the unavoidable USM.

Given the title, I'd like to see the pattern more prominantly featured, or perhaps echoed in the elsewhere in the frame.

On my calibrated monitor this is pretty dark.

This is very dark and would benefit from more contrast I think. Also the blue lighting seems unnatural.

I like this idea, but am wondering if the impact of the bench would be stronger with some burning of the light areas in the background. Not sure, because in some ways the light picks up the curve where the bench leaves off. Interesting.
