many thanks - I recently re-shot this one from the same location with my new camera/lens and did some gradients - made it more of an angry sunset look with reds - and took everyones advise and cloned out the lamp post (actually, I was a tad intimidated by all of the DPC rules at the time and thought I couldnt do that! - oh well). |

| This is a wonderful photo, evocative of another time, which I quite liked. I had hoped it would score higher but then again, 6.3xxx is a very good score. This shows me you've got talent and a good eye. I hope to see more great work from you. |

| I like the contrast between the sharp shapes of the building and the rugged sky. The tones and colours you have used really help to set the scene. |

Excellent photo in so many ways, but the pink hue in the sky is really annoying. I really wish it wasn't there.
Of course the street light is bothersome too, but I'm sure it is unavoidable. 7 |

| Gave it a 6, two things that kept me from going higher as I really like the lighting/texture on the buildings. Why did you include the lightpost there, it´s sticking out like a sore thumb? Secondly, the pink hue on the clouds draws my eye there, I would have wanted to see it with the sepia toning everywhere. |

| It would be a great image if it wasn't for the lamp on the left. in my opinion it i doesn't fit in the the overall scheme, and is really distracting. |

| Love the inclusion of the street lamp and bird in flight. Not totally sold on the red, but it does an another layer here. Nifty shot. |

| Gosh! I wish that light fixture weren't there... *sigh* Without it, the image is perfect, in my opinion. With it... I just want to move my head so it's out of the shot. The sky is wonderful... the processing top-notch. (not voting yet) |
