I'm sure that people are going to figure out that this is a rose. It's a dried rose, sprayed with glitter and some adhesive. I've had this for 3 years now. These were actually saved from my FIL's funeral.

The glitter is quite pretty, really catches the eye and adds a bit something different to the usual dry flower/emotion bit. Almost hopeful.

Oh, how marvelously lovely! The color is so rich and pretty, the composition is nice, contrast and DOF are very dramatic and engaging... all around a very beautiful picture. One of my top few picks for this challenge.
