 Took a piece of white paper, crumbled it up and took a shot. Adjusted the curves and color balance. Tada... Gold!

Looks like the crumpled surface of a padded mailing envelope.

I'm afraid the shot itself comes off as rather soft, with severely blown highlights in critical locations, right where the eye naturally goes.

like the idea and the square crop. lighting is a bit harsh, DOF is too shallow. border is too bold IMO
