40W Red on the right + 40W Blue on the left + 500W white in the back + crumbled up aluminum foil with holes + small aperture (F8.0) = Metallic Constellation.

PS: As a Canadian, I had no patriotic intentions while taking this photo. I didn't even occur to me until I read the comments.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

No time huh? Wow, well, you are certainly going to make me eat my words from an earlier thread. I would love to see what you did to creat this image. My guess is foil with holes poked through with a bright light behind it and possibly using a star filter? Please let me know if I'm right. A "How'd They Do That?" tutorial would probably be very well received on this shot.

This shot looks overall very patriotic and you could probably easily change the title and sell it as that with a print, espcially with the 4th of July coming up.

As for the shot, normally I go back and look over the photographer's profile and see what they have done in the past but I already know with you. Not sure why you wanted a critique on this, it's very well done, even with no time, LOL! I really can't add anything to this shot as far as ways to improve it. Good job!

Good Luck In Future Challenges!

The deep blue, red and star refections makes this an exceptional abstract image. It was one of my top three picks for this challenge.

Clever shot. Are they sweet wrappers? Whatever, they are good.

oooh, pretty! i'm completely in two minds about the twinkly white lights though - and one wonders if that was what prompted the validation request because they look too perfect! I imagine we're looking at well placed punched holes and some very skillful photography. The choice of red and blue lighting is also inspired. This is a great piece of art, and deserves to do very well. 9.

Very interesting picture. I'm not sure I like the starbursts.

Nicely done. Excellent colors and clarity.

Wow ... colors are wild and the starburst pattern of the light sort of distributed randomly adds to the abstract effect. Hope you do well!
