Your title really adds a bit of humour to this. I will hazard a guess that they are parts of those plastic ties that you pull the tail through and they lock.

Composition is OK but lacking some punch. Lighting is OK. Maybe more dramatic side lighting would make this pop more. 6

Cable ties! I am sadly all too familiar with them. I like the green phosphorescent look to the "singers." Since this is Advanced editing I think I would do something (maybe selective burning) to what appears to be motion blur on the top ties.
