 tip of hypodermic needle
someplace btn 4-8x magnification
flashed blue on a white light table
24mm reversed with ~100mm of bellows extension & 12mm stock expansion so the D3 could fit on the bellows..
not trying real hard at the mystery part but i think it looks cool

Oh my, that looks like it might be the business end of a syringe. Nice lighting. Given the *advanced editing* rules you could have cleaned up some of the specks/spots. Still, it's a fun composition and nice lighting/color.
