My favorite of the challenge... It's not technically wonderful (but good!)... it just makes me smile. If that other eye were in focus this would be a ten instead of a nine.

That almost doesn't look like it's her own foot! Ohm nom, nom, nom!
I think the DOF could have been a bit wider to capture both eyes, but the one that caught the focus is darn near spot on. I do love how soft the chosen aperture left the remainder of the photo. The skin tone and lighting are great.
As for the psychological aspect, I realize Amelia is a girl, but we're brainwashed to associate blue with boys. I wonder if that is going to have any effect on the votes. I'm probably just thinking about it too hard, heh. |
