Looks good in b/w. Very random splat pattern. I don't know if the cropping works, however. I think if the splat was positioned higher in the image and if it was cropped more evenly it would look much better. Or if the photograph was taken level and then rotated, say, 45 degrees...might look good, too. Also, rule of thirds.

just reality, not an abstract in my opinion. Maybe if you had gone closer and just take a piece of a brick plus some paint it would have been.

Great idea! But I would have skewed the image to align the bricks with the frame, or tilted the whole thing so nothing lined up. 7

The dead centered white paint splotch isn't doing much for me. Perhaps if you had framed it so it was off center and coming from a corner of the frame. It might have been interesting, for instance, to have the white lines radiating from the top left corner of the frame.
