If I am going to get a sub-5 score, then I may as well put in something to earn it :PPPPPPPPP

I hope someone laughs - then i would know that i am not alone...

This is a reflection of a very funny Einstein picture.

Mirror, picture reflected, and silver-gray mineral eyeshadow.

Desaturate, curves, brightness/contrast.
Dodge/Burn, Blur, Gaussian Blur (really trying to blur the reflection but did not want to lose some detail either), resize, sharpen.

yes, yes, yes, people. i understood going in that einsteinium is a derivative of plutonium. I just figured since I couldn't get any I'd have a little fun with it :)

ok and to add on to the last note... after a Flickr discussion with socalsteve I've come to realize that I thought that this this element had a nice metallic form. Whereas I would have been better off putting in something that glows lol. Oh well... still enjoying the comments tho.

Thank you everyone for all the great comments! Wanted to say that as soon as I saw that Einsteinium was an element, I knew that I somehow had to use this photo - it is hilarious!

This made me laugh out loud, along with all those comments! I guess I don't take things quite as seriously or strictly as others, and thankfully so. Great processing and composition. The blur really seals it for me.

Great one. Picture could stand on its own too.

I wonder if Einstein ever had a day when his brain felt as if it were made of metallic eyeshadow? Great job!

I really like the idea for this. Just a few things to fix, there seems to be quite a few dust spots, and get the powder a bit sharper. I do like the blurred picture for the background.

Hmm, but is it really Einsteinium????

I did have to google this, hopefully you don't get any DNMC's.

Everything in this photo works. Even the border, which I thought upon first glance was overdone, is necessary to complete the illusion. My favorite of this challenge. Excellent!

Nice try but doesn't do anything for me. Not even sure what to suggest...

ROFL!!!!!!!!!! Ok, this one got me! You've got the sodium there so, it fits! Can't say it's a DNMC even though it is a kind of a shoehorn in a way, yet it's not! Ok, you have me going on this one! LOVE IT!!! 10

Come on look, look at that face, he is high as a kite on radioactive crack!

Let me quote my 2.5yr old Bella, "Wha is tha? Look at his tongue!"

Good stuff. Thanks Michelle!

"Like all synthetic elements, isotopes of einsteinium are extremely radioactive, and considered highly toxic." Hopefully your mind was not fogged.
