3 of dad's 6 medals.

My father served in the Royal British Navy from 1942-1947. He passed away April 2008. Although he was in the service only 5 of his 84 years, that period dominated the rest of his life and the stories he told us over and over taught us that there is no glory in war.

I had to do a little research when I saw this. A beautiful, symbolic, and historic image. Well composed. One technical note, the focus seems just a tiny bit off here, it pulls the eye too far to the left.

Good attempt but I don't care about the composition. I would have opted to lay one flat on a table with one laying on top of it but on the side as if they had been casually left on the table.
This 'line-up' seem unnatural to me.

I like the composition. CC: I think the focus would have been better placed on the center start. As it is, the right star is in focus, and only half the center star. I'm suggesting this based on your composition and title. Very good lighting.
