 this is a day-old hatchling ..
its a noisy miner/honeyeater .. it didnt survive a day after this pic was taken ..
this is the mother ..

Nice work, as usual! Certainly looks like a 'bird's eye view'. Too bad about not surviving. The three cardinal chicks in my shot just before yours were dinner for a resident owl the next day. Hmm. I guess that's life.
