 Last minute submission....the weather held out long enough for me to shoot for about 30 minutes.

Half way through voting and I am sitting near a 7.0. WOW, pleased with that!!! I have recieved comments about how it is a bit dark in the front. I couldn't agree more. Darn basic editing. When I tried adjusting in shadows and highlights it just blew out the sky to much. I hope this holds up in the 7.0 range. I expect a drop as it gets closer to rollover.

Well I have been mistaken for coley and I could not have had a greater compliment. The umbrella was actually a mistake. It was raining, so we brought the umbrella. I shot my daughters reflection without an umbrella, then looked at he LCD screen to see if I liked any of those images. My daughter had raised the umbrella while waiting, and I noticed her reflection. BAM...it looked so much better with the umbrella. So we shot a few more and I knew I had what I wanted. The title was made up by my husband. However, I would like to thank coley for his support on this image. Your portfolio is amazing and I have enjoyed peeking at it a few times during this challenge.

Congrats on the Blue, Jen... you've got quite the "Blue" streak going on!
I also thought it was a Coley shot, but as he is also one of my fav photog's - that's definitely a compliment. Love the tones. Very surreal :O)

I rated this a 10 in voting. Thought it was a spectacular image. Kind of a creepy vibe going o =) This looks like it could be a still from a horror movie. Congrats on your blue ribbon!

LOVE the idea. Its a winner for sure. I think I would have liked it more if the bottom wasnt as dark. Dont get me wrong, it helps pull you into the mirror, which pops...still though, its a bit dark for me. Overall though, its one of my favs in the challenge.
