It's so funny that people can't see that this is a balloon. I personally think they are looking at the image way too fast and maybe that's where I messed up when I submitted it to DPC. In the real world most people stopped and looked to understand that it's a balloon in the middle of nowhere. Thanks DPC

Too bad our abandoned images weren't more appreciated at dpc. I like ours. :)

DD, I gave up and read the details and was shocked to find out that this was a balloon. I can honestly say that I looked at that this for a couple of minutes trying to decipher the blue object, and then it's connection to the title. Sorry. BTW, I did not vote :)

I have no idea what I'm looking at. Balloon? Outrageous hat? Alien ball? Oh well, not to worry. It's managed to get itself abandoned on very beautiful farmland and on a fantastic day :)

Beautiful sky...but, not sure what that item is as it's unclear. At first, I thought it was a bag of some kind???

I'm not really sure what the blue object is? It is, however, abandoned and I think the sky looks fantastic. The corners are a little dark and I think it takes away from the pic.
