i wish a lot of the voters had followed you thru your Japan series because they would see such a contrast between what you saw then and what you see now. is this completely abandoned or are some people still living there? it's an interesting find.

A thought provoking title to go with this photograph. Something appears to have gone awry upon resize or saving for web though, as I'm seeing odd pixel distortion throughout the image. Over-sharp/jagged edges alongside blurred areas. It's distracting me away from fully enjoying the story you're trying to tell.

The colors are strong. Beefing up the saturation doesn't compensate for shooting on an overcast day. Maybe this would have worked better in black and white. It's quite a find!

Quite a sad image, especially with the water puddle reflecting only part of it. Great contrasting lines, textures and colors. The sky is a bit of a shame, but hardly catches my eye, really.
