 For years, my Saturday is mostly filled with watching hockey (my two kids are playing it). Already posted a hockey photo in the sport side challenge. There are always some dogs around, here's just one of them.

I like how the dog is just chillin'. My dogs rarely sit still long enough for me to take a pic of them.

Having the dog's owner in the picture adds to this - I like how they're both looking different directions and yet are still connected.

lovely collie! made me bit sad as we lost our border collie jesse aged 16 in march this year!

I like that the pup is looking the opposite direction from her owner. Two interpretations come to mind. One - they've got each other's backs; and the second (probably more accurate for a border collie) that she doesn't want to watch because she will be so sorely tempted to jump in and help. Those kids couldn't possibly herd that ball as well as she could.

Fine looking dog. Seems so relaxed lying there. Nice how you got both the black and white fur right, with good preservation of details.

...but not just any dog! A border collie ever watchful for a few stray sheep that need herding, constantly on the alert ready to jump to the aid of her master...or just waiting to take a nap :)
I've always been a big fan of these dogs.

Hmmm! Looks like he's not interested in hockey. Dogs are so faithful though - he seems quite comfortable
