 Traveling light that morning and only had two lenses, 17-40mm and 100-400mm IS. Seems crazy, but I couldn't get any further down river to where I wanted shoot with my 17-40mm, so I used my 100-400 lens to better capture this scene.

Thanks, DF. I greatly appreciate your vote and comments. It seems that certain styles aren't appreciated here. But, that will simply make me try harder on the next one.

Pretty place. I like where the light illuminates the fog and some of the trees. The trunk (I think) in the upper left foreground is a little overwhelming to me, because the branches on the right which provide the complementary piece of the frame are much more open and airy.

This is a lovely view, it puts me in mind of the enchanted forest from Legend, I can imagine a pair of unicorns wandering out through the trees. Very pretty shot.
