This is a great photo. I'm not sure I feel the "abandonment" in it, but it definitely has something dark going on.

Who can't relate to this? The only thing is it appears she has a bit of a smile, but that could just be, of course. A very lovely and interesting image, in a good way.

This is a strong image. It might be stronger still if not quite so centered--a crop in from the right to just outside the smoke, and a smaill crop down from the top to retain a horizontal bias might even more tension and mood to the image. Or it might not. Nice approach to the challenge theme--a different take on it.

I think this is a cool pic. I also think it would have been more fitting for the "smoke" competition... I don't really feel like she's abandoned, just alone.
