Grain in a b/w is not bad. I feel you've reduced the noise in this shot which changes the feel to me. The tone also has almost a purple hue to it... and contrasty black and white conversion that is more black than purple with a vignette around the edges might make the image have just a bit more impact for me.

A nice moment. I think I would prefer this taken from a lightly lower persepctive....although I realise that you'd have to then completely re-compose the shot...

A good capture in time of a nice moment with lots of good elements to see and almost hear. I like how the bass player seems to be rather interested in something out of frame, but probably isn't missing a beat. Well composed.
