Love Valley, North Carolina, a unique town. Travelling through this town, I came across this wash tub. Curves, levels and a small dose of saturation. Don't use my 70-200 as much as I would like, so got it out and used it for this shot.

My mom used a wringer-washer like this for years when I was a child. Of course it's not usable here without water or electicity.

I've spent several minutes now looking at this. My first reaction...an old object someone has discarded outside. Second....an old fashioned washer that was the norm at one time. I just cannot get to where I feel poverty. To the person who could never afford this, and they had to use rocks, this was a luxury.
