I love that the only direct light in the enclosure is shining on his face. The dimmer light also helps mask the glass. He's a beautiful bird, though he looks kinda like he's scowling at you!

This image fascinates me - i have returned to view many times over the last week. From a technical perspective the lighting and composition intrigue me. The scale seems wrong, with blades of grass and leaves out of proportion to the trees that appear in front of them. Disregarding that, there is a real fairytale fantasy feel to the photo which I find rather appealing.

IMHO this owl looks like it is stuffed & in an exhibit. A nice shot, don't get me wrong, just not sure if it meets the challenge. Not going to vote, best of luck! (not to mention I don't haven't translated the title)
