Whenever, the challenge ends I always look to see how the shots I liked the most finished (I was your one 9) and I have to say I was shocked to see this come so low
Yes its 'just' a flipped shot but (for me at least) I really liked the disconcerted feeling it gave me when it came on screen and it met the challenge well.
Interesting composition and well executed. I really hope you dont let this score discourage you...DPC Voters can be a strange lot and just because an image scores low it does not mean it is a bad picture.
I still really like both it and your take on the challenge |

Why there are so many purely flipped / rotated images in this challenge I am not sure, personally I would have rated this as a 3 because whilst it looks a pretty good shot I don't think flipping a standard image is really what the challenge was about.

I think the shot has to stand on its own even outside the challenge to score highly. So, if I were to see this outside the challenge, I would not think there was any purpose to turning it upside down. Make sense? |

i feel the challenge needs more than just a photo turned upside down |

I don't see how upside down works for this shot. Sorry. |
