 My cat is a photographers best friend. I put her into a position and she will stay for several minutes as I snap away. I knew she photographed well in black and white, so I just found some great window light and I was able to shoot about 30 frames before she moved. I had alot to choose from. Post processing:

raw conversion
adjust brightness and contrast
smart sharpen
reduce noise
crop
sharpen
save for web

haha this is a great, cute shot... somehow I overlooked it! Pet shots are generally boring I would say (b/c everyone does them and thinks their pets are the cutest, etc...) but when you get a great one they become something else.
