| Have I seen this photo before posted on one of the forums? It looks familiar to me. Maybe in the Wheels challenge? Maybe I've lost my mind. Interesting shot, anyway. I like the tones and the composition. Love the star...reminds me of Texas! |

WOW! I reallu dig how the rust takes on almost a golden sheen to it causing the star to really stand out. I like the uniformity of the focus as well, it shows of good detail.
Is this a manhole cover of some kind? What city has manhole covers like this? |

| I like the composition and lighting in this. There seems to be a subtle shadow which emhpasizes the pattern. Very well done. |

| Nice pattern, and a nice capture on the texture of both the rusted metal and the pavement in the background. Good choice of composition - putting the design off center works well. |

| This is one of my favorites of the whole challenge, it is an interesting picture that features rust, but doesn't rely on the rust to make the picture. I'm guessing it is a manhole cover? |

| Aha - you post (a sister) of this image asking for advice... then use it in a challenge. One of the comments was to set it off-center which you've done nicely here. This composition is right on as is the exposure. |
