 I chose this picture because of my transient life that I hope is coming to a pause for some time. I have bounced from place to place around the world over the last few years in urban and suburban areas and have aimed to seek the individuality within all the uniformity. Some people may not see the suburbs in this image, but this is my small area of the world; this is my individuality in a mess cookie-cutter creations. It is quite bare, as I have only recently moved in, but I identify closer with this space than any other in a long time.

I have been in and out of photography for some time and hope to get back in. I have never had a great chance to develop my editing skills, so I did not get an opportunity to take advantage of the Advanced Editing. This is just a simple application of curves.

I am a fan of light and shadow.. this has both.. I like the angle you shot this from, I like the reflection of light on the ceiling and the pattern the blinds made on the wall .. the title confuses me a bit as the bed looks more like someone was tossing and turning ... if there were a glass of wine maybe.. a satin comforter.. even some pills on the night stand.. leading to me thinking of the old trueism of escaping from the boredom of life in suburbia.. just my take on it however.

Hmmm, this is a very creative shot for me. Reminds me bear_musics Overexposed shot.

Very artistic shot and very creative idea. I'm not quite sure that it screams suburbia though without the title???

Nice image - Like the interesting lighting - Not screaming suburbia to me like some of the other images but very nice tones.
