The biggest issue on this shot was getting it to look sharp on the web reduction, I ended up doing it in 3 passes, once at 0, 2, 80 on usm and once on smart-sharpen at a wider area to clean up the marine haze. then one last time to re focus after saving for web at 0,.5, 60

As posted on Faidois shot

LOL that is so funny, I had you down as the couple that put the two almost identical woodland shots with the girl walking away in to the distance a few challenges ago, oops heh.

See thread on both images.

Seems like we took almost identical pictures on two separates days with the same lens of the same subjects from different location. Talk about flying precision.

A pretty amazing coincidence,
mine
faidoi's

So no, I didn't submit two of the same shot, nor did I submit two of the same shot the week before.

Surreal. I was at 20 Marina Green Dr, San Francisco (Google map) in front of the tree.

It's a shame that there are 2 almost identical images in this challenge as there was a week or two ago and I suspect your scores will be suffering if you continue to enter almost identical pics.

This one is a bit too dark and the sky colour could have been improved, good sharp capture though by the looks of it.

Great shot for the challenge, perfect crop too. There seems to be a double of this in the challenge?

Are you sure you didn't submit the same photo twice? It looks pretty identical. I saw these guys the week before. This one is just slightly different. Coincidence being at the same spot in SF the same day?
