This image was shot in a cave while Reyna was fire twirling--known as "Poi" The very low light made it extremely hard to get good focus. I have tried to make it a soft focus. I was going to post one with her actually twirling but it would have meant 2 light sources.

i love this. too bad you couldnt get a sharper focus. i think people who have a problem with nudity should take theyre clothes off and go look in a mirror til they get over it. and as i interpret it, you wernt trying for a sexy chick holding fire, so i like it better than looking at a perfect 17 year old body or whatever. it seems more natural to me, and hell im only 16 myself...lol sorry for me going on and on about it:)

I absolutely love this photo. The woman has a beautiful, mature figure that adds a sense of naturalness and earthiness to the entire composition. It has such archetypal themes - the fertile female body and destructive yet life-giving fire. I love the soft focus, the colour, the curves of her body and the composition.

nice direction it would have been more intense if the firey objects were more in focus - 6

Perhaps the next time you should try a younger version.

I think this is pushing it too far. Subtle would be more sexy, Botticelli would like it however.

Hey, there are 15 yr olds on this site in case you didn't know. I don't believe this is obscene or anything, hell I like nudity, but I'm not so sure it's appropriate here. About the picture, it's pretty good. The subject is a little dark and the flame is a little bright. tough to compromise exposures isn't it? Good luck - Inspzil

Lovely composition, but I think that fire is not artificial

VERY NICE....I especially enjoy how the body seems to curve and then follow itself into the chain and fire

If this image would have been in focus it would be excellent. Beautiful composition

compositionally very strong and really like the verticality of fire and subject... like the soft firelit focus on subject, too. great shot! ~mcmurma

Nice! Like the curvy shapes lit up from her arms to her stomach and hip. Looks like some pagan witchy ceremony and it's interesting. Great use of 1-source light.

OMG her clothes fell off!

very interesting, the low light looks like it made it difficult to focus but I like it.

unfortunately nude isn't always art 3

when the camera tends to give you sursaturated reds like this, I would strongly recommend switching the photo to B&W. Well framed. 6

nudity for nuditys sake?

Uh oh, this smells of controversy. You shouldn't make waves here, just ask Zeissman, he'll tell you flat out. And OH MY GOD, there are some children that come here and their virgin eyes should not be exposed to such utter vulgarity. You should be ashamed! Bad, bad photographer. Actually, this is pretty nice. Keep up the good work.

Great idea, execution is not exactly to my taste (the graininess), but a beautiful image nevertheless.
