In the carpool/H.O.V. lane during the evening commute, southbound I-680 in the San Ramon Valley.

-Made selection/mask of sky area
-Blue/Yellow Curve applied through mask
-Cloned out stray leaf along uppoer-right edge
-Resized
-Cropped from top to 3:2 aspect ratio

Had to think about this one for a moment to see "suburbia" but, when I did think about it, I could see that the suburbanite needs to travel via highway in order to commute to work everyday.

Certainly matches the challenge, but the image is very busy with the shadows along the left and cars on the right. Though this might be a part of the goal to match the cookie-cutter houses.

As an Australian I'm not sure that the HOV lane is. The light is too bright to make the sky interesting and the image lacks a strong, clear focal point.
