 Thank you for my german team members to help me pick a good shoot and help with the adjustment. The gal on the left is Lucy, the guy on the right is Ricky. I'm glad I found a challenge to use him, since this will probably be his last DPC participation. Unfortunately he has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and is not in good shape.

Thank you for your comments. This shoot was one of those rare moment in time captures. Yes the tennis balls are over exposed and Rickys right ear is not showing. They decided to lay so close to the back drop going up, that I did not want to use a third light, since it would also show the not so pretty backdrop + after checking the shoot close, he had his ear flipped back a it was hardly showing. No do over. Thank you again.

Congrats on the top 20!! As I said before, this is an awesome portrait and really shows off their character and personality. A wonderful picture to have and cherish!

Such a great shot! This keeps making me smile. I used to have German Shepherds and they're so wonderful. I'm really sorry to hear about Ricky, and especially glad you got such a great shot of him!

Sorry to hear about Ricky.
I thought this would place higher, make the top 10 for sure. Sometimes I think voters kill a picture for the small technical issues (slight overexposed tennis balls) and do not realise what difficulty there might have been to change that. I pose in this picture is priceless, and I know how hard it is to work with more than one animal at once. And hey, if that German Sheppard deceides to lie too close to the bakcdrop, their ain't much you can do about it.

Great Picture, my favourite so far. Tennis Balls are a little overexposed. To be really critical, some light that brings the left ear of the left side dog out from the background would have been great, but that is being really picky. Well done
