 I'm new to the website and I wasn't even going to enter this challenge. However after reviewing the photos I took of the last time the "Sam the Record Man" sign was to be lit in Toronto I stumbled across this photo.

This cabbie almost hit me (I was shooting just off the curb, on the road) as he sped off after the traffic light turned green. Since I was in continuous shooting mode on my D300 shooting the sign, I was able to capture it as he 'zoomed' by me. Then I figured a cabbie speeding off classifies as a person who is working. Hence the photo, I think, meets the criteria of the challenge.

This is my first submission so I am not expecting much.

Good start with your first entry...
The cab would have been nicer imho if it was all in the picture! But, like I say, good start...

Would have liked to see the cab in focus I think as it's the main subject in your image, without the title I don't think I would know it's a cab.

be careful with long shutter shots, its easy to end up with nothing in any focus
