This gentleman was so into his reading, he didn't even notice me.

Stunning! I really like this. Have you tried it in black and white? The colours work well though.

He's going to be there for a while...he brought his highlighter...

Ah, has a nice sense of comfort to it - shoes off, enjoying the day. Having now looked at some of the other comments, a lower angle might not have given you a nice diagonal on the wall and a relatively clean background.

Great angle and lots to look at there. I might have processed this in BW, but it seems to hold up well in color too.

Funny, my first thought too was "would be better if taken from a lower angle" -- guess we all have been well-trained. :-)

Good exposure, by the way, and I like the natural colors.

A lower angle probably would have been better in a perfect world, but you'd have been pretty conspicuous getting down to get the shot and probably would have lost it.

Very nice, natural tones, but I wonder what this would be like in b&w.

A good study. Looks like he's settled in. I agree that a lower angle might have worked a little better but its not always possible when trying to get a candid.

I love the fact that you've included his shoes, I don't know why I like shoes so much... but they really make this picture for me.

I like it when people just claim part of outside as their own .. he seems to have brought something to sit on - took his shoes off and is just ignoring the world. The slight smile on his face tells me he might just know you were there.. so maybe you could have just gone for it, crunched down and fired off a few... grin ... but I probably wouldn't have.

Thanks for the comment Peter, yes I was afraid that he would notice me, and miss the candid mood, but you are right. you know what? next time I'll go for it, and we'll see what happens ;)

an interesting character - i wonder if a lower angle would have worked a bit better - but it almost might of got you 'caught' - as it is, the angle and perspective makes it seem as if the man is not on the same level - placing yourself at his eye level could provide more lift to the shot
