Let me see, no hair and a goatee, Jason?
the very strong lighting here along with the piercing stare makes me think not of sadness but of anger, like you are thinking about all the trolls voting this image down!
Seriously though I like it, although I am sure if this challenge was in advanced editing (like it should have been...) you would have then toned down the ear in the left of the frame a bit and the shiny bits on the face.

| I think that there is too much light on one side and not enough on the other sid eof his face, unless this is the effect you were going for? |
