The background color and blown out bits of hat and shoulders have an unfortunate impact on an otherwise fine capture of a pretty face. Unless purposely going for a Penney's catalog look circa 1982, I think a tighter crop would have helped a lot.

Light on the face is good, double light in the eyes nice, but the backlight is too strong and the background too bright... Nice smile

Excellent. Light, exposure, backlight, natural expression, direct eye contact, it's all good. Maybe one little nit: the top of the shoulder looks blasted.

would have gone a bit softer on the makeup brush - upper lip... but... overall I LOVE the pic!

What a great portrait. The only constructive feedback I have would be to watch the catchlites in the eyes. The two catchlites are a little distracting. If this was not a basic challenge I am sure you would have fixed it. Beautiful woman, nice high-key look to it. Looks like you blew out alot of highlights with your backlight. Maybe just a little less of a backlight on this one. (7)
