 Hastily shot as the sun went down. Cropped some blurry leaves out of the top. Unfortunate background slicing through the upper half but I'll have to live with it. Bumped tomato red up, smoothed noise out of it. Cropped.

You're probably getting killed but imho this is a brilliant execution of the challenge. The title might be confusing people, because this photo works not as a photo of a tomato but as an abstract composition. The feeling comes perhaps from the juxtaposition of the red circle and the dark circle below it.

Your tomato depicts such boldness.
It Shows a true willingness to survive no matter what the surroundings are.
Undoubtedly it̢۪s an extremely lonesome life growing up in a less desirable setting. Shunned by other tomatoes I'm sure.
This tomato has risen up through a crack in the road. Kind of like it's saying “I’m an outcast and so what? Who wants to be like everyone else any way?"

Take most humans for example. We would demand that our life is to be strategically placed in a setting only where we are able to grow and live among a cluster of a hundred other tomatoes. You know, living on some plush urban penthouse vine and always looking to win the blue ribbon, hoping and striving to be in People Magazine.
Your tomato humbly states "I am content."
