 ok... it's 10:53 pm on sunday night... I took this a couple days ago and almost didn't submit it... but then I decided that I have nothing to loose... It's just three peanuts held in place with thumb tacks under the bristol board... For lighting I used my new Alienbees B1600 with a Softbox... Amazing lighting setup! I'll add some setup pics later... all I did was a bit of tweaking in camera raw, cropped, resized, and that's it...

This may do bad because of what people decide to define "abstract" to be... LOOK IT UP!!! and use your own discretion =)

Colors need a little more punch, but otherwise, this is a great idea and a good conveyance of it. Very creative. I have to admit, however, that I am needing to be quite liberal in what I consider abstract for this challenge.

That out-of-focus guy really looks like he got rejected. 10 for the emotion but I'm not seeing much abstractedness.
