well done concept for this challenge. keeping the focus on the eye/eyelash is well done. I find the lighting to be a bit bright/harsh. not sure if this is a grab shot or a set up where you might have options. playing a bit with the highlights (bringing them down a bit) and maybe a slightly richer tonality (perhaps even a sepia, b/w, or duotone?) might align to the mood a bit more. This is a nit, but the numerous specular highlights on the mesh seem distracting to me--but I am not sure I would have the patience to go and spot all of those down to black/gray... of course, feel free to disregard all of my comments--you still get a 7 from me |

I like that you've left the eye closed. I think it would be interesting to see the focus on the net instead of the face, particularly for an abstract challenge, but that might not have conveyed the emotion as well. |

It would qualify as weakly abstract in my opinion. Nice camera angle, weak lighting, nice contrast. But the abstraction is missing. |
