other than the fact it's a macro, where's the proportion?

I love the centers of tulips, so colorful. I would like to see a greater depth of field and more definition of the petals in the red area.

Nice macro, but would be improved by more depth of field to get the stamen in focus.

Wonderful macro. The composition is striking. I'm interested in how you took this shot, my flower closeups never come out nearly as good.

This is a very nice image; the colors work well together. Composition should perhaps include the "cutoff" areas at the top and bottom - but that's a minor point. The most distracting point is that the top of the stamen is very soft/

Intense close-up! Very nice pattern. Greater depth of field would have brought the sepa into the pattern more--don't know if it would also flatten the subject too much, though. And just to be really, really picky--the pollen flecks dirty up the image. Nice one. Luck!
