 I have applied usm, curves, cloned out some small hot spots and blurred a few small areas, rotated 90 degrees, cropped, added a fine black border, resized and saved to web.
The subject is a glass paperweight, placed in a blue glass bowl and in front of a sheet of red glass. My biggest problem was trying to control extraneous reflections whilst maintaining light.I used some plain brown cardboard for this, but it did cut down the light a fair bit.
