Johnny looked in the mirror and cursed his fate again. All the other grasshoppers looked normal, but not him, oh no. He had to have this face! This face that made everyone laugh. This face that made the girls all look away. He hated his face.
Johnny turned away from the mirror and wiped a tear from his eye.
Life could be so cruel. |

| AAAAAHH!!! He's so cute! I love the green/red contrast. It works really well, as does the centered comp. Nice work. |

| Nice try, but for me this falls down on several fronts. The focus is nice on the eyes and forelegs, but distractingly soft on back legs and body, I don't care for the strong red/white border running through the back, and overall the colors are a bit oversaturated for my taste. |
