Like the way different expressions on the two faces, the patterns made by the light, and the nice row of buildings in the background.

perfectly balanced unbalanced shot! ;)
love the contrast between the self-conscious look in the boys face and the total coolness of the man's look and pose.
these shadows on the road and sidewalk are a great touch to the whole scene.

A wonderful expressive face & posture of youthful basket seller. Keith Richards look alike w/cig is interesting. All in a great urban texture of geometric patterns of light filtering through the el, against Brighton, bright backdrop.

I've never been out to Brighton Beach. A little out of the way on a very slow train but I need to do it one of these days.

Nice shot. It captures the vibe of the traffic under the elevated lines well.

Entirely too busy, and I absolutely love it. :-) There's the look on the young man's face, the great light throughout, the guy with the cigarette, and the folks on the opposite corner. And the baskets are simply the perfect touch to the whole scene.
