 The cross in the background has dogtags of fallen military members on it. I am holding my actual dogtag just in case the name could be read.

I had this idea for a couple days but really only had one or two days to shoot it.

I know it's bound to make someone upset but hey it's a emotion challenge, what'd you expect.

While through my 19 years in the military I have never had to deploy to a war it has affected me and people I know. No one really likes war but some feel it is impotant and will probably always fight despite the pain and sufferaging it causes to more than just the soliders.

This photograph is very emotional and i think that its very well taken, and you can interpret it however you want.

Thank you everyone for the comments and votes. Didn't finish where I hoped but then again I never do. :(

I was really confused about what was meant by abstract but knew what I wanted...guess I should have used this in a different challenge. Looking to get it ready for sales so if you're interested keep an eye out.

i like it, i would love it if the aperture settings were set for extreme clarity somewhere in the photo.

so sad but a great picture. maybe would like it even more (if possible) if the dogtags weren't so blurred like the rest of the pic. beautiful piece. :)
