 Not saying this shot is worth anything, but it is the very first picture I took with my new 1D Mark II.

Shot in JPEG, default camera settings, uncropped. Levels, Resize, USM, Save for Web.

I just had to take at least one picture the day I got the camera, and rather than "wasting" it, figured I'd might as well snap a pic of our dogs. They were sleeping (it was after 11pm), but they woke up when they saw me maneuvering for a shot.

Taken handheld with the Canon 100mm/2.8 Macro (the only lens not in my camera bag and I was too lazy to go dig out anything else).

edit it, and get rid of the panel wood BG, make it black
that would add a ton of POP to this shot
