This image, besides not being abstract, feels very cluttered and unbalanced to me. I think it would have been better not to include the front left corner of the cutting board because to me it really emphasizes the discrepancy in focus and attention to placement across the image. To me, it does not make sense to have the napkin falling off of the right side of the image when there is so much empty space on the left side of the cutting board. I think if you were going to include a napkin, perhaps another color would have worked better than the bright white. I do like your onion. I wish it were more of a star in this shot. The skin and the lines on the half in the back are lovely and could have made a wonderful abstract, in my opinion. |
