CaƱon City is blessed with many dinosaur finds. There are footprints, bits of eggs, bones, impressions -- many reminders of these long-ago residents. We have a museum, Dinosaur Depot, where visitors can go and watch paleontologists at work on various finds. Usually the sun is shining on our part of the world - known as the "banana belt" of Colorado. Ocassionally, however, we get some welcome precipitation and the world reminds us of the way things used to be millions of years ago....

Cool subject, but I think the photo overall is too dark.

A little dark, the dinosaur could be easier to see.

Better lighting on the T-Rex would have helped this shot a lot.

Fun shot! My son came right over when he saw it to gawk at it. We have a town in Utah, Vernal, that touts dinosaurs, so I can see easily how such a photo can represent a town. It may be a bit dark, but dark is okay. Try just darkening the medium tones, then bring up the highlights as an experiment. Fun stuff.

A slightly sharper focus and a bit brighter would make this more effective, I think.

Nice find - and a great idea. Photographically it doesn't do much for me - but keep trying. (Composition and lighting are my biggest concerns.)

It seems (IMHO) underexposed--in regard to the dinosaur especially. A lot of what must be neat detail in the dino is lost. Cool idea, though.

Either it's dinosaurs in current day or you have a a random modern building in dinosaur ages. Interesting idea. The plastic dinosaur seems a little bit dark.
