Oh for an hour glass twisted by the same winds that waved the sand. |

Wonderful sense of perspective. The texture of the sand is great. I'd love to see the end of the shadow and the grass fully in frame. The sky is great.

That is a beautiful sky. I Especially like how the shadow falls across the ground. |

really* cool idea, nothing more classic than the sun dial, wonderful colours - but why did you crop the tips? 8 |

Nice composition and texture. The low light really shows proportion; your title might be better as the "shadowy" instead of shady... but that's a minor detail. Colors are very effective. Overall a very strong submission. |

I wonder if you needed to include so much sky, if any, in this photo? I cropped it by scrolling up to obscure the sky and I liked it much better. I also like it with just the thinnest strip of blue at the top. Try it, you'll like it. High marks for the excellent detail in the sand and shadow. |

Nice use of proportion to create importance for a small subject. The distant clump of grass adds context and emphasizes the solitary nature of the subject. Beautiful color, shadow, texture.... Luck! |
