So, I've learned a big lesson with this challenge: don't assume people know your subject.

This is a fence over a cliff by the ocean. As you can see, the fence is not in proper conditions, so there's no safety in the area. It's a tourist attraction and kids run and play around. I hesitated till the last minute to submit this in color or black and white. I think color would have helped to better understand that the background is actually the sea.

Back to comment and bump: Safety is a tough subject for a challenge and after a second look; I can appreciate your take on the subject. Hopefully, the DNMC Police don't hit you too hard, as the connection doesn't hit you over the head. I think the b&w conversion is very well done. Overall, the subject is not very exciting and will make it easy for the voters to vote 5 or lower and move on.

It's a cool photo but I'm not really seeing anything about 'Safety'. Maybe it's cause those things are not familiar to me as I live in the desert? Are they related to being around water?
